The BA (Hons) degree in Dance Performance at LMA is delivered by industry professionals and provides a solid grounding in all major styles and techniques to prepare you for a career as a professional dancer. All of this is underpinned by theory and academic study along with developing your own style and creative vision.

If you want to dance all around the world, in music videos, theatre productions and large scale tours, then this course is the first step to make that happen!

LMA is currently unable to accept international applicants who would need a Student Visa to study in the UK.

Additional Costs Associated with your Course:

You should anticipate the following additional costs associated with your course;

Clothing  and footwear Items to enable  you to follow the expected dress code for your course.  Initial outlay from new at the start of the course approximately  £100 for clothing and £120 for shoes.  

All students on the Dance Performance course are required to follow an “all black, neutral clothing” dress code for all practical workshop and rehearsal sessions.  Clothing should preferably be logo free. Items worn can include Leotard, Vest, Crop top, T-shirt, Leggings, Tights, Shorts, Convertible Dance Tights (flesh tone of your choosing)

You are also required to have a range of footwear Items to enable you to fully participate in the different dance class activities, including suitable trainers for fitness classes , Black split sole jazz shoes; Tan New Yorkers; Black tap shoes ; Split sole ballet shoes (flesh tone of your choosing);  if you are at intermediate or advanced level for ballet,  Pointe shoes flesh tone of your choosing)

Costs for Optional Trips to Shows and Performances – Approx £75.00 per year.
