DIGITAL GAMES ART

The BA (Hons) degree in Digital Games Art at LMA is delivered by industry professionals and provides invaluable grounding to embark on a career within the ever developing digital games art industry. From the outset, through experimentation and the development of original ideas, the creation of 2D and 3D assets, environments and characters is at the centre of the course, underpinned by theory and academic study.

Students will be working with industry-standard creative software and game engines used by developers throughout the world preparing them realistically for a successful career ahead.

You should anticipate the following additional costs associated with your course;

Whilst LMA games students are able to access a wide range of games production software and hardware whilst on campus free of charge we recommend that all students acquire their own personal 1 – 2TB Portable External Hard Drive to store their own work.   Students are also required to acquire their own drawing and sketching equipment including sketch pads and a range of drawing materials.  Initial outlay costs at the start of your course approx £100.
